It is value added software. Do you need it? Probably not. Is there a need for it? Probably not.

Features

• Allow parents, students, staff and administrators access from home.
• Parents and students could view absente history, reports( but we do not enter them in maze), Student awards and behaviour (not used), student timetables, family details and financials
• Staff could view and modify student attendance, behaviour, staff details. They could view Daily and Weekly timetables.
• Past students could access info
• Board members could access agendas, board reports (all done by email at the moment.)

May be useful for role marking at start and end of day as well as periods.

WSUS - Internet Explorer V 7

Starting Wednesday, November 1, 2006, Internet Explorer 7 for English clients will be available for synchronization to Microsoft Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) servers from Microsoft Update. This release will be made available in other languages over the next several months. The update is approximately 15 MB in size and is classified as an update rollup. Versions are available for Microsoft Windows Server 2003 SP1, Windows XP SP2, and Windows XP 64-bit Edition operating systems.

When I synchronised the WSUS i did not appear to get Internet Explorer 7. The reason was I was not sycronising for the classification Update Rollup. Once changed all was good.
